Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with specific experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in soil mechanics, foundation design, and numerical modeling software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio).
• Experience in offshore geotechnical investigations and design is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex geological and soil data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage geotechnical site investigations, including soil borings, CPT, and geophysical surveys.
• Analyze soil and rock mechanics data to determine engineering properties and assess site suitability for various structures.
• Develop geotechnical design reports, foundation designs, and slope stability analyses for offshore platforms, pipelines, and onshore facilities.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, structural engineers, and project managers, to integrate geotechnical findings into project plans.
• Perform peer reviews of geotechnical designs and ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards in the Oil & Gas sector.
