Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional geotechnical experience.
• Expertise in geotechnical software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and site investigations.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics and engineering geology.
• Pr.Eng registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling and sampling.
• Analyze soil and rock data to develop foundation designs for buildings and bridges.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to slope stability, excavation and tunneling.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, recommendations and drawings.
• Provide on-site construction supervision and technical support for geotechnical works.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies on geotechnical matters.
