registration with ECSA, and 10+ years of infrastructure experience. You will work with advanced software like Plaxis and GeoStudio to model soils, rocks, and foundations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive geotechnical experience in infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in numerical modeling software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio).
• In-depth knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, adapted for remote presentations.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) registration with ECSA is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, including site characterization and laboratory testing programs.
• Perform complex geotechnical analyses for foundations, slopes, earth retaining structures, and tunnels.
• Develop detailed geotechnical reports and provide recommendations for design and construction.
• Review and approve geotechnical designs and calculations submitted by junior engineers.
• Advise project teams on geotechnical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Utilize advanced geotechnical software for modeling and simulation.
