Formación

• Master's or PhD in Geophysics or related earth science.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in seismic interpretation with exploration focus.
• Proficiency with seismic interpretation software (Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix).
• Strong understanding of seismic processing and attribute analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform seismic data processing and quality control to ensure data integrity.
• Interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to identify geological structures, faults, and stratigraphic traps.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information.
• Generate prospect maps and geological models for exploration and appraisal opportunities.
• Utilize state-of-the-art geophysical software and interpretation workstations.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to contribute to field development plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics or a related earth science discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in seismic interpretation , with a focus on exploration.
• Proficiency with seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix).
• Strong knowledge of seismic acquisition, processing, and attribute analysis.
• Excellent geological understanding and ability to integrate multidisciplinary data.
• Experience in the South African offshore or onshore basins is advantageous.
