Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Geologist to join our exploration and development team in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa. You will analyze subsurface data, build geological models, and support drilling campaigns to maximize resource discovery and value.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in the E&P sector, a strong background in structural geology, sedimentology, and petrophysics, and proficiency with Petrel and Kingdom Suite. A higher degree (MSc or PhD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential hydrocarbon or mineral resources, assessing risks and opportunities.
• Develop geological models and contribute to the planning and execution of exploration and appraisal wells.
