The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Genetics/Genomics/Bioinformatics, has at least 3 years of hands-on experience, and is proficient in Python or R.

Qualifications

• PhD in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• ≥3 years hands-on genomic data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or R and bioinformatics tools.
• Strong understanding of statistics and their application to genomic data.
• Experience with cloud-based genomic analysis platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of next-generation sequencing data (whole-genome, exome, RNA-seq).
• Identify and interpret genetic variants and associate them with phenotypes or diseases.
• Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with bench scientists to design experiments and validate computational findings.
• Contribute to writing research papers, grant proposals, and internal reports.
• Maintain and manage genomic databases and metadata.
