Job summary

Premier FMCG in Pretoria seeks a reliable Loader to perform on-site loading and offloading of bread, ensuring quality and FIFO stock rotation. You will follow loading SOPs, balance trays, attend daily invocoms, and report issues to the offloads supervisor.

The role requires accuracy, good numerical skills, and strong teamwork in a rotating 6-day shift. Working conditions include Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays on a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with numerical skills.
• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar FMCG loading/offloading role.

Responsibilities

• Offload and load bread on site according to SOP.
• Follow pipeline loading/offloading sequence.
• Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck.
• Attend daily invocoms.
• Ensure quality bread is loaded/offloaded.
• Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO).
• Report loading/offloading issues to the offloads supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.

Job Purpose

A loader has the responsibility of loading and offload bread on site

Key Responsibilities

• Offload and loading bread according to offloads/ loading SOP
• Follow pipeline loading/offloading sequence
• Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck
• Attend daily invocoms
• Ensure that quality bread is loaded / offloaded
• Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
• Report back on loading /offloading related matters to offloads supervisors
• Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 with numerical skills
• At least 3 months’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry
