Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Ltd. is seeking a dedicated milling plant cleaner to support daily cleaning, maintenance tasks, and safety compliance across the mill area. You will collaborate with a milling team, inspect equipment, and ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.

The role requires flexibility to work shifts, strong communication, and a proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in a high-speed production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the miller and other duties as required.
• Maintain proper daily communication with shifts and teams.
• Check all mill equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of all mill floors from top to bottom.
• Ensure cleaning and hygiene standards are met across the mill.
• Clean the mill and maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Provide clear work instructions down the line to operators.
• Assist with mill maintenance activities.
• Ensure cleaning during fumigation and maintenance days is thorough.

What is the primary purpose of your job?

To clean floors and machines and walls in mill production on floor you are posted, make sure all chokes are picked up and help with other chokes in mill area. Help with maintenance-on-maintenance days sieves and filter changes Safety and hygiene standards

• Assist in maintenance tasks.

What are your main tasks that you do to achieve your outputs?

• Assist miller and other duties
• Proper daily communication.
• Check all mill Equipment.
• Proper inspection of all mill floors, Proper walk-through mill top to bottom.
• Ensure that mill cleaning and hygiene standards are met.
• Cleaning of the mill.
• Proper work instructions give down the line.
• Assist with Mill maintenance
• Ensure the proper cleaning out of equipment on fumigation days and maintenance days.

Minimum qualifications required by the position:

• Matric with maths
• A good and sound knowledge of mechanical side of milling machines.
• Detail orientated
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
