Job summary

Tiger Brands in South Africa is seeking a General Worker to clean floors, machines and walls in mill production. You’ll assist with maintenance days, sieve and filter changes, and ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work shifts.

You will be part of a frontline team responsible for daily cleaning, inspecting mill equipment, and supporting maintenance tasks to keep the production area running smoothly.

• Ensure the proper cleaning out of equipment on fumigation days and maintenance days.

General Worker

What is the primary purpose of your job?

To clean floors and machines and walls in mill production on floor you are posted, make sure all chokes are picked up and help with other chokes in mill area. Help with maintenance-on-maintenance days sieves and filter changes Safety and hygiene standards

• Daily Invocom/MECP and communication with shifts. Held in a structured manner.
