Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a General Manager to lead an outsourced property services operation, driving profit, client relationships and service standards in a demanding client environment.

Reporting to the Managing Executive, you will oversee an Operations Manager and Regional Administration Manager, translating strategic objectives into practical plans, budgets and performance metrics while upholding quality, health and safety and environmental management systems.

Qualifications

• At least three years of managerial experience in outsourced property services.
• Operational, CRM and financial management capability.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, ISO 9001 and risk management.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning, staffing and decision-making to achieve targets and SLAs.
• Develop strategic plans informed by technological, operational and financial opportunities.
• Establish budgets, performance measures, resource plans and review mechanisms.
• Coordinate procurement, production, field and technical service activities.
• Establish clear management accountabilities and information sharing.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce quality and service standards.
• Monitor industry developments and best practices.
• Coach and develop managers and employees to improve capability.
• Manage employee relations and adherence to company policies.
