Placements24 is seeking an experienced General Manager, Operations to lead and optimise all operational functions from Vereeniging. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction across production and service delivery.

You will manage P&L, lead a team of managers, and drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial operations and P&L responsibilities.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
