Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Repository Technician to manage the laboratory biospecimen repository, ensure cold‑chain integrity, and maintain strict GCLP standards across the organization. This role includes hands‑on accessioning, storage, and regulatory documentation.

You will oversee inventories in the LIMS, coordinate sample requests, and generate thaw lists while ensuring compliance with regulatory and sponsor requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant laboratory field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a GCLP‑compliant or auditable laboratory environment.
• Experience with LIMS for specimen management; LDMS and LabWare advantageous.
• Valid IATA certification for international shipments.
• Demonstrate experience in cold‑chain management, specimen processing, and laboratory operations.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Veeva) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the laboratory specimen repository ensuring specimen integrity, traceability, and uninterrupted cold chain management.
• Maintain accurate specimen inventories and records within the LIMS with timely data entry and reconciliation.
• Coordinate specimen requests and perform accessioning, storage, shipment preparation, and distribution of specimens for testing and external collaborators.
• Generate and QC Master Thaw Lists and Individual Thaw Lists to support assays.
• Monitor repository capacity and optimize storage utilization including archival activities and disposition of obsolete specimens.
• Receive, package, ship, and document specimens per IATA, GCLP, sponsor requirements, and SOPs.
• Track CTAC sample controls and liaise with stakeholders as required.
• Submit specimen inventory reports and regulatory documentation to the Department of Health.
