Job summary

SGS is seeking a qualified Analyst to support the quality and management systems through rigorous laboratory testing. You will work with LCMS instrumentation, maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include method validation, instrument calibration, data review, and training teammates on new analytical methods, while upholding safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology, or related field.
• Grade 12 completed.
• 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.
• Update and calibrate lab analysis instrumentation.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Develop, validate and implement new analytical methods.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of analyses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with QMS and SOPs.
• Train analysts on new analytical methods.
• Review and update SOPs and method validation reports.
• Quality system inspections and record keeping.
