Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a Data Analyst to design the target-state data model for FX and to create a clear, fact-based view of how data is structured, owned and moves across the FX value chain. You’ll translate complexity into shared foundations that programmes rely on, partnering with business and technology stakeholders in an Agile setting.

You will build data inventories, map lineage, define data dictionaries and produce analysis packs for architecture, integration and migration teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed in Requirements.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (minimum).
• 8 years of professional experience in financial services, business analysis or feature analysis and data analysis.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation and data governance skills.
• Hands‑on data analysis, mapping, modelling, governance, lineage and quality analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL, data profiling, data warehousing, metadata management and data-lineage tooling.
• Familiarity with reporting, APIs and system integration, plus Jira and Agile tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the priority FX domain inventory across the lifecycle.
• Prepare data-model artefacts, entity definitions and modelling assumptions.
• Own the business data dictionary including definitions, formats and owners.
• Map current-state data lineage and source-to-target journeys.
• Investigate data quality issues and document root causes with recommendations.
• Analyze cross-system identifiers to support reference requirements.
• Produce data-focused analysis packs for architecture, integration and migration.
