Placements24 invites an experienced Remote Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Analysis and Design. You will evaluate structures via advanced software, design elements for new builds and retrofits, and produce drawings, specs, and reports.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a strong focus on Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in structural analysis and design.
Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA is essential.
Expert proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
In-depth knowledge of local and international structural design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced structural analysis using software to assess performance under various loads.
Design structural elements and systems for new constructions and retrofitting projects.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Conduct peer reviews of designs and calculations prepared by other engineers.
Provide remote technical consultation and support to project teams, clients, and construction personnel.
