Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in data science or advanced analytics, with sports analytics focus.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, ML techniques, and data mining.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement statistical models and ML algorithms on sports data.
• Clean, transform, and integrate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Identify trends, patterns and predictive insights about players and teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical questions and deliver recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on advances in data science and sports analytics.
