Henwil Chickens seeks a Remote Industrial Maintenance Technician to support Richards Bay operations from a remote location. You will provide remote guidance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure plant equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, plus excellent remote communication skills.

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with complex machinery
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Excellent remote communication and use of remote diagnostics tools

Responsabilités

• Provide expert remote technical support and guidance for troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Analyze machine performance data and diagnostic reports to identify root causes of failures or inefficiencies.
• Guide on-site maintenance teams through complex repair procedures and preventive maintenance tasks via remote communication channels.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guides for remote access and use by field teams.
• Monitor equipment status remotely and recommend proactive maintenance actions.
• Maintain detailed records of remote support interactions, resolutions, and equipment performance.
