Placements24 is seeking a Virtual Culinary Event Planner for a fully remote role. You will design and coordinate innovative virtual and hybrid culinary experiences, from online cooking classes to meal kit deliveries. The position requires strong project management, creativity, and a passion for engaging digital events.

You will manage supplier relationships, content creation, and client objectives while ensuring profitability and smooth technical execution across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning or coordination, focused on virtual or hybrid events.
• Experience in catering or food and beverage is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interaction.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams) and project management tools.
• Creative thinker with ability to develop innovative event concepts.
• Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan unique virtual and hybrid culinary event experiences, including online cooking classes, tasting sessions, and meal kit deliveries.
• Coordinate the logistics of delivering ingredient kits and event materials to participants' homes or offices.
• Manage supplier relationships for ingredients, packaging, and delivery services.
• Develop engaging content and instructions for virtual culinary experiences.
• Liaise with clients to understand their event objectives and customize virtual catering solutions.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability for virtual and hybrid offerings.
• Oversee the technical aspects of virtual events, ensuring smooth execution via online platforms.
• Gather feedback from clients and participants to continuously improve virtual event offerings.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the quality and appeal of delivered food items.
• Stay updated on trends in virtual events, digital engagement, and innovative food delivery models.
