About the Role

Our client, a dynamic family in Soweto , Gauteng, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for their two young children, aged 2 and 4. This position requires a nurturing individual committed to fostering a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where the children can thrive. The Nanny will be responsible for daily routines, engaging play activities, meal preparation, and ensuring the children's overall well-being. We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and responsible individual with a genuine passion for childcare, who can also adapt to a hybrid work model, offering flexibility for occasional remote coordination of activities or planning. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the parents to support the children's growth and development in Soweto .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high-quality care for two children (ages 2 and 4).
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and reading.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
• Manage daily routines, including dressing, bathing, feeding, and nap/sleep schedules.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the children, tidying play areas and children's belongings.
• Foster the children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with parents about the children's day, progress, and any concerns.
• Administer basic first aid and manage minor health issues, following parental instructions.
• Occasional light housekeeping related to the children's needs.
• Participate in occasional remote planning or activity coordination sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years of professional childcare experience as a nanny or similar role.
