Job summary

Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape, ZA is seeking a responsible and engaging Childminder & Early Development Facilitator to care for a toddler and an infant. This full-time, live-out position requires creating a safe, stimulating environment and promoting learning through age-appropriate activities.

You will plan routines, prepare meals, communicate with parents, and support developmental milestones while maintaining reliability and a loving atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a childminder, nanny, or early childhood educator with infants and toddlers.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Reliable and punctual with a responsible mindset.
• Ability to provide excellent references.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe supervision for two young children (2 years and 8 months).
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate development.
• Manage daily routines, including feeding, napping, hygiene, and playtime.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized play and living environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities and progress.
• Foster a positive, loving atmosphere and engage in creative play.
