About the Role A warm and nurturing family in Upington, Northern Cape, ZA is seeking a responsible and engaging Childminder & Early Development Facilitator to care for their toddler (aged 2) and infant (aged 8 months). This position requires a dedicated individual who can provide a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring the children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. The ideal candidate will not only offer attentive care but also actively engage the children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, curiosity, and social interaction. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe supervision for two young children (2 years and 8 months).
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Manage daily routines, including feeding, napping, hygiene, and playtime.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized play and living environment for the children.
• Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Communicate effective with parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Foster a positive, loving, and encouraging atmosphere for the children.
• Engage children in creative play, reading, singing, and other developmental activities.
• Assist with light household duties related to the children's care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a childminder, nanny, or early childhood educator, with specific experience with infants and toddlers.
• A passion for early childhood development and a nurturing personality.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and developmental milestones for infants and toddlers.
• Ability to create a safe and stimulating environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
