Frontline Optometric Assistant Wanted

Established Clinical Practice - Pietermaritzburg

We are a well-established Optometric practice with a very strong clinical focus based in Pietermaritzburg, seeking an experienced and personable frontliner to join our team.

The Role

• Managing the appointment book for three optometrists
• Pre-testing on various diagnostic machines
• Frame selection, quoting and invoicing
• Placing and following up on lab orders, keeping patients informed throughout
• General frontline administrative duties

Requirements

• Previous optical/frontline experience advantageous
• Excellent people skills - outgoing yet professional

Hours

Monday to Friday, full days. Saturday mornings only (half day), with at least one Saturday off per month. Closed on public holidays - no mall-style extended trading hours.
