Job summary

African Pride Melrose Arch, Autograph Collection in Johannesburg is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office Manager and supervise Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services. You will help ensure smooth check-in/check-out, guest satisfaction, and departmental financial performance while coaching staff and maintaining service standards across shifts.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a focus on hospitality excellence within a luxury hotel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in guest services/front desk or related area.
• Associate degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field preferred (2-year degree with no work experience mentioned).

Responsibilities

• Assist Front Office Manager and supervise staff daily.
• Direct and coordinate front office operations (Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, Guest Services/Front Desk).
• Improve guest satisfaction and financial performance of the department.
• Communicate goals and implement corrective action plans.
