Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Receptionist & Manager Assistant for a luxury lodge and guest house in KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on front-of-house duties, guest check-ins and reservations, while supporting the General Manager and coordinating across departments.

The ideal candidate is presentable, fluent in English, with strong organisational and communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Live-in accommodation and meals are provided, with salary negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior luxury lodge or guest house experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage front-of-house duties including guest check-in/out and reservations.
• Assist the Manager with operational tasks and departmental relief as required.
• Oversee or support various departments including kitchen, housekeeping, and stock control.
• Handle staff coordination and assist in team supervision.
• Manage bookings and reservations (Semper experience advantageous).
• Maintain administrative records and assist with stock taking and procurement.
