Job Description
Job Purpose:
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering their questions in a friendly, conversational manner.
- Communicating effectively with staff and maintaining a professional attitude, even when faced with challenges such as irate clients.
- Striving to provide the best customer experience and resolving issues quickly.
- Assisting with front counter operations, including booking jobs in and out of customer stores as needed.
Responsibilities
Front Counter Service
- Ensuring accuracy in all book-in processes, including fault descriptions, spelling, fault categories, POs, and passwords.
- Assessing units for physical damages and noting all accessories on job cards.
- Ensuring accurate return of repaired goods to customers.
- Attaching all job cards to the completed jobs portal on Studio daily.
- Escalating unresolved customer queries to the Technical Supervisor or Manager.
- Ensuring quick and effective repairs for DOAs and quick repairs.
Environmental
- Wearing PPE clothing weekly.
- Keeping work areas clean at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- A+ or technical qualification (advantageous)
- At least 1 year of administrative or reception experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of administrative processes
- Good understanding of facility layout
- Effective communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service roles
