Job summary

The Care Co. in Johannesburg seeks a Fragrance Representative to build strong customer relationships, grow existing accounts, and win new business. You will work closely with product managers and R&D chemists, applying fragrance expertise to guide formulations and marketing materials.

The role involves lab exposure, travel up to 3 days a week, and a proactive, sales-driven mindset to drive cosmetic and home care fragrance sales across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant technical scientific qualification and fragrance selling training.
• Able to prepare marketing materials from technical data.
• Will spend time in the laboratory formulating fragrances for skincare, hair care and home care.
• Willing to travel up to 3 days per week and have own vehicle.
• Sales experience and marketing/communications skills preferred.

We have a position for a Fragrance Representative in our Johannesburg office for an energetic, self-confident, problem solving, sales-oriented individual who has the ability to build excellent relationships with our existing customers, increase sales to them, and who will gain new customers for our company. You will join a department comprising of product managers, sales representatives and market

Minimum Qualifications:

The incumbent must have a relevant technical scientific qualification and have had training on selling fragrances to be able to advise manufacturing research and development chemists on the most suitable fragrance ingredients to use in their formulations. You must be able prepare the most appropriate scientific marketing materials from our technical data that will translate into sales.

You will spend a limited time in our laboratory working with fragrances and formulating formats for up skin care, hair care and home care to show case to our customers. You will be exposed to our other categories of raw materials which presents a growth area for you.

You must be willing to travel up to 3 days per week and have your own vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
