Qualifications

• Recognized teaching qualification with a Foundation Phase or Early Childhood Development specialization.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching preschool or young children.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
• Passion for early education and child-centered learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a creative, standards-aligned curriculum for the Foundation Phase.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment supporting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians.
• Manage classroom dynamics to promote positive behavior and a strong sense of community.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources for varied learning styles.
• Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities, including field trips and events.
