Qualifications

• Proficiency in drug product development, including understanding of API-physical properties, excipient compatibility, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with formulation characterization techniques and relevant analytical instrumentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for drug product development and submission in pharmaceutical industry.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative Formulation Scientist to lead the development of solid dosage forms within their pharmaceutical R&D department in Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing oral solid dosage formulations, including tablets and capsules, from pre-formulation studies through to clinical trial material manufacturing. This role requires a deep understanding of drug delivery technologies and materials science to create effective and stable pharmaceutical products.
