Job summary

Signal Hill Products is seeking a forklift operator to handle loading, unloading and stacking of materials safely on site. The role emphasizes strict adherence to SHE standards and HACCP/IS022000 guidelines, with focus on ME pillars and accurate stock management across shifts.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, precise loading/unloading, and maintaining good communication with Inventory Supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy and orderly warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Matric or Grade 12 equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in the food and beverage industry.
• 3+ years' experience operating a forklift (advantageous).
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Proficiency in using handheld devices will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check, measure, load, unload, and stack materials safely.
• Maintain stock quality and perform daily stock counts.
• Operate forklift safely and conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Keep workplace organized according to 5S standards and SOPs.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team to ensure smooth handovers.
