Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to join our warehouse team in Pietermaritzburg. You will operate forklifts safely, load and unload trucks, and move materials according to warehouse procedures.

The role requires diligent adherence to safety rules, efficient stock handling, and cooperation with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
• Move materials, stock, pallets, and products to designated storage or production areas.
• Stack and store goods securely while maximising available warehouse space.
• Inspect the forklift and equipment before each shift and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and within the forklift's rated capacity.
• Follow warehouse traffic rules, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with stock movement, picking, packing, and general warehouse duties when required.
