Job summary

Cashbuild is hiring a Forklift Driver to operate and maintain the forklift safely while delivering excellent customer service in-store. You will merchandise stock, label prices and keep the area neat and compliant with store layouts.

You’ll assist customers with product queries, ensure smooth loading of purchases and maintain safe working practices. Requirements include Grade 12 or 1 year related experience, English and local language proficiency, basic math, and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or 1 year related experience.
• English and dominant local language communication.
• Ability to perform basic calculations.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Must be physically fit to operate a forklift.
• Must have a valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the forklift safely and cost-effectively.
• Provide comprehensive customer service in the store.
• Merchandise stock, label shelf prices and maintain housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
• Assist customers with product queries and issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Load customer purchases without delays and ensure items are loaded safely.
