Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Forklift Driver (Internal Applications Only) to operate and maintain the forklift safely while delivering excellent customer service and handling stock merchandising within the store. You will assist customers, ensure accurate price labelling, and support overall store readiness and safety.

The role requires readiness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, with attention to safety guidelines and efficient, careful handling of goods.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or minimum of 1 year work related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the area.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be physically fit to operate a forklift.
• Must have a valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all Customers and determine their needs.
• Advise Customers correctly on product.
• Assist Customer with any product queries.
• Assist with Customer complaints timely.
• Add on sales, e.g. paint v/s paint brushes, thinners.
• Ensure efficient Customer service by ensuring that Customer’s purchases are loaded without delays.
• Ensure Customers purchases are loaded carefully without damaging goods or vehicle.
• Advise Customers on additional services provided: Delivery service, Glass cutting, Plan reading, Credit programmes, Special orders, Trusses, Distant ordering, VIC Customer Programme.
