Placements24 is seeking a Forex Trader to join its Benoni trading desk. You will execute currency trades, monitor macroeconomic developments, and develop strategies with risk controls, contributing to the firm’s profitability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in forex trading, a relevant degree, and strong analytical and communication skills to work with the research team in a hybrid office setting in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable Forex trading experience.
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of technical and fundamental market drivers.

Responsibilities

• Execute currency trades across major, minor, and exotic pairs.
• Monitor macroeconomic news and central bank policies.
• Develop and implement profitable trading strategies with risk controls.
• Maintain detailed trading records and P&L.
• Collaborate with research for insights and market intelligence.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
