The ideal candidate has 3+ years in forex trading, a relevant degree, and strong analytical and communication skills to work with the research team in a hybrid office setting in Gauteng.

About the Role

The Forex Trader will be responsible for executing trades, managing risk exposure, and identifying profitable trading opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Execute currency trades across major, minor, and exotic pairs based on trading strategies and market analysis.
• Monitor global economic news, political events, and central bank policies that may impact currency markets.
• Develop and implement effective trading strategies to generate profits while managing risk.
• Analyze market data, charts, and technical indicators to identify trading opportunities.
• Manage trading positions, ensuring adherence to risk management parameters and stop-loss levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Forex Trader or in a similar trading role.
• Proven track record of profitability and effective risk management in forex markets.
• In-depth knowledge of technical analysis, charting patterns, and fundamental economic drivers.
• Proficiency with trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader, Bloomberg) and analytical tools.
• Excellent understanding of risk management principles and position sizing.
