Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Welkom to manage daily logistics, inventory control, and supplier coordination. You will work with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to meet delivery schedules and minimize costs in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in supply chain coordination, a relevant degree, and proficiency with ERP systems and SCM software. On-site position in the Free State, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain coordination or logistics, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficiency with supply chain software and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain activities, including order processing, inventory management, and shipment tracking.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule inbound and outbound transportation.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock availability and costs.
• Resolve supply chain issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all supply chain transactions.
• Forecast demand with internal teams to align production or procurement plans.
