Placements24 is seeking a diligent FMCG Supply Chain Coordinator to join the operations team near Rustenburg. You will oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure product availability while minimizing costs, with a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain coordination, strong ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing inventory levels, and managing logistics. You will play a key part in maintaining the high standards expected in the FMCG industry, ensuring product availability and minimizing costs. This position offers a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and has a keen eye for detail in managing complex supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock holding and reduce waste.
• Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain discrepancies or issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management or coordination, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, logistics, and procurement processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently, with a portion of the role being remote.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
