Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is essential.
• MBA would be a significant advantage.
• 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in FMCG.
• Proven ability to hit ambitious targets in a complex market.
• Experience managing large teams and complex distribution networks.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG market in North West and surroundings.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets.
• Lead, mentor and manage the regional sales team.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Oversee implementation of sales and marketing strategies at retail level.
• Manage regional sales budget and profitable growth.
• Collaborate with national sales and head office functions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and channels.
• Ensure inventory and supply chain logistics are effectively managed.
