Placements24 seeks a diligent Quality Assurance Officer for FMCG manufacturing in Queenstown. You will uphold quality standards, implement QMS (HACCP/ISO 22000), inspect materials and products, and ensure documentation accuracy to protect consumer safety and brand integrity.

The role requires a degree or diploma in related fields, and experience in QA/QC with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Collaborative work across departments is essential, based in the Eastern Cape region.

Formación

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per HACCP/ISO 22000.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to stay within quality parameters.
• Investigate complaints and non-conformances, implement CAPAs.
• Manage quality documentation and audit reports.
• Collaborate with production, R&D and other departments to promote quality culture.
