Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead FMCG operations in Mahikeng, North West. The role oversees production, warehousing, and logistics, driving efficiency and cost reduction while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will implement operational strategies, manage teams, and monitor KPIs, collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance to align objectives and deliver strong profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations management, preferably FMCG manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and operational management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all operational aspects of the FMCG facility in Mahikeng, including production, warehousing, and logistics.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Oversee staff performance, providing leadership, training, and development to operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the FMCG industry.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business objectives.
