Job summary

Time Personnel is seeking a procurement support professional in the Western Cape region to assist with capture and maintenance of purchase orders, monitor stock levels, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires Matric and a relevant Diploma or Degree, up to 2 years FMCG/wholesale experience, strong Excel skills and a valid SA driving license with your own vehicle. This is a great entry-point for a career in procurement and stock management.

• Up to 2 years' relevant experience in FMCG, distribution or wholesale
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and other computer literacy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly organised
• Valid SA driving license and own reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Capture and maintain purchase orders
• Track deliveries and outstanding purchase orders
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential stock risks
• Assist with stock analysis, slow-moving stock and aged inventory
• Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and outstanding issues
• Monitor pricing, promotions and supplier deals
• Assist with invoice, credit and stock-related queries
• Maintain accurate buying records and documentation
• Capture and reconcile information across internal systems and prepare reports
• Communicate with warehouse, finance, sales and operations teams
• Follow up on outstanding action points and ensure deadlines are met
• Provide general administrative support to the buying department
