Placements24 is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth for its FMCG portfolio in the affluent Sandton area. You will identify opportunities, build partnerships, expand distribution, and drive revenue through strategic initiatives.

The role requires proven BDM experience in FMCG, strong negotiation and market analysis skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales or related roles in FMCG.
• Proven ability to identify new markets, forge partnerships, and grow revenue.
• MBA preferred; Bachelor's in Business/Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the FMCG market in Sandton and surrounding regions.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share, introduce new products, and enter new distribution channels.
• Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to inform business development strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close complex business deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless execution of new business initiatives.
