Job summary

Golden Yolk Eggs, a leading egg production company, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the Free State region. In this role you will drive revenue growth, retain and expand the client base, and visit clients daily to ensure stock on hand and excellent service.

• Matric and a qualification in a relevant field is advantageous.
• 5+ years FMCG sales experience.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Afrikaans & English language proficiency.
• Proficient in sales reporting, administration and relevant software tools.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Team player with willingness to go the extra mile.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets while adhering to the company’s sales budget and forecast
• Retain and grow existing client base and obtain new clients
• Negotiate prices with existing and new clients
• Maintain strong relationships with clients
• Visit clients daily to ensure sufficient stock on hand
• Accurate recordkeeping of clients visited and sales made
• Development and implementation of regional sales strategies
• Provide insight on regional market trends
• Pro-active identification of new clients / markets / industries
• Attend to client complaints
