Smith Garb And Associates Cc is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a ~70-vehicle corporate fleet. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance, licensing, insurance administration, and cost control.

You will manage documentation, coordinate servicing with providers, generate Excel reports, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards while working independently across multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a corporate vehicle fleet.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to identify issues (hands-on repair not required).
• Excellent understanding of licensing and insurance administration.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills to compile and analyse reports.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a fleet of about 70 company vehicles.
• Ensure licences, discs, insurance policies, and related documentation are current.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections for roadworthiness.
• Coordinate servicing, maintenance and repairs with providers.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure preventative maintenance is completed.
• Analyse fleet costs and provide cost analysis to management.
• Prepare accurate Excel reports on fleet performance.
• Maintain up-to-date fleet records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
