Placements24 is seeking a proactive Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair operations for our Richards Bay fleet. You will lead technicians, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency across heavy-duty and light commercial vehicles.

You will implement preventive maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure records are accurately kept using fleet management software. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet management or automotive maintenance supervision.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a technical team.
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and specialized equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of automotive technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for the entire fleet to minimize breakdowns.
