Intellistaff is seeking a Fleet Maintenance & Insurance Administrator in Gauteng, Northern Suburbs (JHB). The role oversees a 70-vehicle fleet, ensures roadworthy condition, safety, servicing and maintenance, and handles accidents.

You will coordinate with on-site mechanics and external service centres, apply mechanical knowledge, manage parts supply, monitor costs and maintain comprehensive fleet records using Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Driver's license and own vehicle essential.
• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years relevant experience relating to the position.
• Administrative skills will be an advantage.
• Computer literate - must be able to work in Microsoft Excel.
• Mechanical knowledge or qualification required.
• Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the maintenance and administration of a 70-vehicle fleet.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, safe, serviced and well maintained.
• Investigate and manage vehicle accidents and related incidents.
• Manage and oversee the on-site mechanic responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with external Service Centres for vehicle faults, major repairs and scheduled servicing.
• Apply strong mechanical knowledge to identify and understand vehicle faults and maintenance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and service providers.
• Source and coordinate the supply of vehicle parts when required.
• Monitor maintenance costs and ensure repairs are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and maintenance documentation.
• Compile regular fleet maintenance and status reports using Excel.
