Job summary

NKWE BULK, RUSTENBURG, a division of Reinhardt Transport Group (Pty) Ltd, is seeking a Fleet Controller. You will oversee all aspects of fleet management, monitor operations, schedules and driver performance from a centralized location.

The role requires a Matric, 2–3 years in fleet management, knowledge of tracking systems, strong analytical and communication skills, sober habits, own transport, and Excel proficiency. A competitive salary starts at R192 000 per annum plus incentives.

• Matric certificate required.
• 2–3 years’ fleet management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fleet management and tracking is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Sober habits.
• Willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends.
• Computer literate with Excel experience.
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Fleet management: oversee operations, monitor fuel consumption, and scheduling.
• Driver management: coordinate schedules and assignments with compliance.
• Communication: liaise with drivers and track orders.
• Compliance: ensure safety and company policy adherence.
• Vehicles: coordinate maintenance, COF inspections, and service scheduling.

FLEET CONTROLLER

Job Summary

• Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of fleet management. Monitor and manage fleet operations, wages, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling. Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity.
• Driver Management: Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments, ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies. Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
• Communication: Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues. Track orders and deliveries.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards.
• Vehicles: Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
• Reporting: Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management.

Requirement

• Matric
• Previous experience in fleet management (at least 2 - 3 years) or related field
• Knowledge of fleet management and technology i.e. tracking will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills as well as organisational abilities
• Sober habits
• Willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends
• Computer literate and Excel experience (compulsory)
• Own Transport
