Job summary

impact.com is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Finance Invoicing Squad. You will drive automated and manual testing across invoicing, tax, and ledger components, using Playwright, SQL, and API testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

You will apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate test authoring while maintaining deterministic verification for financial calculations. Collaboration with global teams is essential to deliver robust financial software.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience creating, running, configuring, and scaling Playwright-based web automation scripts.
• Strong SQL data profiling and complex query skills for ledger logs and billing inputs.
• Proven experience testing RESTful APIs, validating payloads and responses.
• Analytical and numerical aptitude with strong manual testing, requirements analysis, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to pivot quickly, balance speed with quality, and work autonomously.
• Experience incorporating AI tools (Cursor, Copilot) into QA lifecycle with strict ground-truth verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and scale automated regression packs for end-to-end billing journeys.
• Debug test failures using traces, videos, and artifacts to pinpoint root causes.
• Review and action PRs to maintain an well-documented QA framework.
• Perform manual and visual mobile web audits across devices and platforms.
• Validate financial calculations, tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance pipelines.
