Job summary

IQ Business is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Agile team. You will drive an automation-first testing strategy, designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks for a complex, client-facing digital platform.

The role requires hands-on automation development with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver, strong C#/.NET development, API testing, and experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and test management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience delivering testing solutions within Agile environments.
• Experience with enterprise-scale web applications and APIs.
• Financial Services or Banking experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks with an automation-first testing strategy.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, DevOps, and Solution Architects to embed quality across the delivery lifecycle.

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Agile engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and driving an automation-first testing strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across a complex, client-facing digital platform. This role requires a strong technical QA professional with hands-on automation development experience, capable of designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks while contributing to continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, and Solution Architects to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience delivering testing solutions within Agile software development environments.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale web applications and APIs.
• Financial Services or Banking experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills & Experience

QA Automation

• Strong experience designing and developing automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Front-end and back-end automation testing.
• Cross-browser and cross-platform testing experience.

Development

• Strong development experience using: C# .NET Framework /.NET Core

API Testing

• REST API testing Postman or equivalent API testing tools
• API automation frameworks

Performance Testing

• Performance and load testing experience.
• Experience with K6 would be highly advantageous.

Azure DevOps

• Strong experience using Azure DevOps including:
• Azure Pipelines (CI/CD)
• Azure Test Plans
• Test case management
• Test reporting
• Release pipelines
• Work item management

Certifications

• The following certifications would be advantageous: ISTQB Certified Tester ISEB Software Testing Certification
