Lever, Inc. seeks an Integration Manager & Technical Support Specialist based in South Africa. You will own merchant onboarding, configure payments, validate APIs, and investigate complex incidents to ensure successful production launches in a fast-moving fintech environment.

You’ll collaborate with international merchants and engineering teams, manage production readiness, and contribute to platform reliability with a proactive, detail-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in L2/L3 technical support or as a Senior Support Agent/Support Manager in fintech/crypto/payments.
• Hands-on experience with system logs and monitoring tools to trace transaction errors.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture, REST APIs and JSON for integration troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using Postman to validate API requests and troubleshoot integrations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform root-cause analysis under time constraints.
• Attention to detail and precision when managing configurations, credentials and production environments.
• Proactive and self-directed, owning merchant issues and driving solutions.
• Fast learner of new documentation, systems, workflows and product requirements.
• Calm and effective under pressure, able to handle incidents with high accuracy and speed.
• Fluent Russian with upper-intermediate to advanced English (B2/C1) for international communication.
• Able to write concise incident reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Committed to continuous learning and potential growth toward senior SRE/product/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical merchant onboarding by configuring integrations, payment routing and methods across PSP, on/off-ramp, and card solutions.
• Manage API access and production-ready configurations, including issuing API keys.
• Validate API requests and troubleshoot integration issues using Postman and logs.
• Investigate transaction incidents by analyzing payloads, SQL, logs and monitoring data.
• Use Grafana and other observability tools to trace errors across systems.
• Replicate and isolate bugs to determine merchant vs platform origin.
• Escalate issues to Engineering with clear, actionable next steps.
• Support final technical verification and production readiness before go-live.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear guidance for international merchants and internal teams.
• Prepare concise incident reports and maintain documentation throughout troubleshooting.
