Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a Stock Controller to manage Finished Goods inventory within the SAP system, ensuring quality standards and compliance with governance. You will oversee blocking and movement accuracy, and drive timely reconciliation of stock records across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, variance investigations, and reporting through sign-off documentation to support cost and quality controls across the SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics or Sciences.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment.
• Knowledge of Stock Control Processes.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Finished Goods inventory within SAP, ensuring product quality standards and governance.
• Ensure FG inventory is accurately blocked in SAP with appropriate blocking for quality and obsolescence stock.
• Conduct independent inventory counts and reconcile to SAP; escalate variances with action plans.
• Monitor daily controls and open shipments; process claims with backup documentation.
• Support governance, risk and reporting through accurate documentation and records.
